Beloved Mother and Grandmother
Left to dance with the Angels on June 25, 2012. Enthusiastic lifelong resident of St. Paul. She will be dearly missed by her children; Mary (Dan) Nissen, Jeanne (Steven) Oelfke, Peg (Jim) Malaske, Christopher (Christine), Angela (Troy) Vertina, Kathleen (Paul Czech) Karp, and Bonnie (Darren) Amundson. Grandchildren; Amy, Nick, and Tony Nissen; Daniel, Phillip and Sgt. USMC Timothy Oelfke; Sarah, Drake, and Mary Malaske; Louis, Nathan, Elizabeth, and Teddy Karp; Matt and Terry Vertina; Rachel and Jared Czech. Siblings; Janet Williams, Job "Leonard" (Ghislaine) Dittberner, Dorothy (Dr. John Scanlan) Dittberner-Scanlan, Norita Dittberner-Jax (Gene Jax), and Larry Dittberner (Rene LaBore); Sister-in-law Mary Jane Cronin-Dittberner; a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends, especially Dolores (Dick) Koch. Will be welcomed into heaven by a choir of Angels, including her Angel baby Rosemary Therese; treasured grandson, Andrew Oelfke; parents, Doris and Otto; and cherished brother, Jack. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 11:00 A.M. at CHURCH OF SAINT BERNARD, 187 Geranium Avenue West, Saint Paul. Burial at Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 4-8 P.M. at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice at Magnolia (with a choral send-off at 7:00 P.M), as well as Friday, 9:30-10:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Festive attire encouraged.
