Lenke, Mary Jane
Age 100, passed away November 9, 2014. Born on the Bohemian Flats in Minneapolis on October 6, 1914 to Matthew and Suzanne Hibben. Preceded in death by husband of 64 years, John; brothers, Matthew, Michael and John; sisters, Suzanne and Anne. Survived by son, John (Peggy); sisters, Eleanor Lewis and Dorothy Overby (Gordon); brother, Lawrence Hibben (Eileen); grandchildren, Heather Lenke, Kirsten Wagner and Courtland Chelmo; 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mary was an avid bowler until age 90 and participated in over 40 national tournaments. Lifelong member of Holy Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of Providence Place. Service Friday, 11 AM at HOLY EMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 201 E. 104th St., Bloomington. Visitation Thursday, 5-7 PM at BRADSHAW, 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S., and one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
