Age 68, of Stillwater
Passed away peacefully after a prolonged battle with Alzheimer's on May 23, 2015. She was preceded in death by husband, Arthur Pluim; parents, Leo and Dode Smith; aunts, Joyce and Phyllis; cousins, Jon, Joel, and Michael. Survived by sister, Nancy (Robbie Stair) Smith; Son's in Law, Doug (Lisa Voeltz) and Darin (Dorothy) Pluim; nieces, Miriam and Emily; grandchildren, Dillon, Sophia, Marty, Monty, Kelly, Mandy, Joe, Jessica and Elena; cousins, Pamela and Debbie; dear friends, Karon Teeters, Rick (Maureen) Lamone, Lulu (Tuke) Weston and their children Eliza, Olive and Xavier; Many other relatives and friends. Mary worked at the bank in Stillwater, Brines Market, and was active with Hospice Care and The Stillwater Chamber of Commerce. She was an entrepreneur, involved in many small business ventures: The Wordsmith book store, That Smith Girl custom Jewelry, Riverwind Metalum wallcoverings & crafts, and Moving Made Easy. She loved Knitting, Floral arranging, spending time with children and walking by the ocean with her beloved dogs, Rocky and Jake. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 1-5 PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. (NW Corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5) Stillwater. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
