Passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on February 16, 2021. She will be missed by those who survive her: husband of 60 years, Wilbur; children, Nancy (David) Bulmer, Wendy (Dan Schwartz) Purcell, Pamela (Rick) Patton, Terri Gudim, Wayne Purcell, Christopher Purcell; grandchildren, Jacob (Izzy) Bulmer, Benjamin (Megan) Bulmer, Justin (Amanda) Schwartz, Jadin (Lexi) Schwartz, Alita (Geoff) Osterberg, Domonic Sofie, Jerry Gudim, Jane (Ryan) Eliasson, Betsy (Joshua) Gudim, Caitin (Marcus) Gudim; great-grandchildren, Jensen, Brayden, Cameron, Trenton, Natalie, Gaige, Rachel, Claire, London, Axel; sister, Ruth Picht; nieces, nephews and friends. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Agnes; brother-in-law, William Picht. In addition to her 27-year career with St. Paul Companies, Mary Jane had many interests outside of work. She was a gifted baker, her specialty being red velvet cake. She produced numerous pieces of counted cross-stitch art, and enjoyed spending time at the family cabin on Webb Lake and going to the casino. A memorial service will be 4-6pm Thursday, February 25 at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice Street, St. Paul, 55117. Social distancing guidelines will be observed, with limited building capacity. For those who are unable to attend, cards may be mailed to: The Family of Mary Jane Purcell at the aforementioned address.
