Wodnick, Mary Ann
Age 82, of Mpls., died peacefully on March 9, 2010. Preceded in death by husband, Jim; brother Maury and sister Marge. Mary Ann grew up in Cologne, MN, graduated as an RN from the College of St. Catherine and worked for many years at Glen Lake Sanatorium and the Minnesota Veterans' Home. She loved being with and caring for other people and will be remembered for her positive outlook, her devotion and her kindness. Mary Ann's family will never forget the non-stop visits, consideration and thoughtfulness of family and friends during her illness, and extends their deep thanks to Mary Ann's caregivers at Providence Place and her care team from Heartland Hospice for their compassion and love, and special appreciation to the residents and staff of Rosewood Assisted Living, who made her feel so welcome. Mary Ann is survived by sons Marc and Craig (Pat), grandchildren Michael and Amy, great-grandson Gabriel, brother Claude (Carol), sister Phyllis and many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, March 23, at 10 AM, at CHURCH OF SAINT HELENA, E 43rd St. and 32nd Ave. S. Visitation Monday, 5-8 PM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S., and also 1 hour prior to Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Helena Catholic School.
