Age 91, of St. Paul, MN
Passed away peacefully on July 4, 2021. Preceded in death by husband Richard Sr., parents Dominic and Anna Pinochi.

Mary Ann was a lifelong member of St Bernard’s Catholic Church and a 1947 graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, St Paul, MN. She married her sweetheart Richard in 1951 and together they raised a family of 7 children. Mary Ann’s greatest joy was her family and her Christian faith. She enjoyed reading, sewing, playing cards, going to lunch, finding a bargain and an occasional trip to the casino.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and cherished friend. Mary Ann will be sadly missed by her children, Patricia (Al) Martynenko, Mike (Laurie) Opitz, Richard (Suzanne) Opitz, Betty (Duane) Hastad, Connie (Rick) Shand, Thomas Opitz, Mary (Pat) Forliti, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, sister Catherine (Roger) Drewing.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior at St Bernard’s Church, 187 Geranium Ave W., St Paul. Private interment at Calvary Cemetery.
