Matt Jungbluth
Age 48, of Rush City - Passed away suddenly on March 9, 2025.
Matt was kind, humble, thoughtful, hardworking, and incredibly intelligent. He was a farm kid until the family moved from Loyal, WI, to Stillwater at age 8. His love for farming continued with the help of neighboring farmers, where he was able to spend his summers working. That passion for hard work never faded. He carried it with him as he built his own trucking company, Square Lake Transport. Matt put in countless hours on the road transporting goods, mainly with his dedicated route to Florida.
Matt’s traveling passion did not stop him from settling down and marrying his true love, Angie, and raising three strong young men. He was so proud of the men they became and deeply in love with his grandsons, Ayden and Dylan. His wisdom was beyond his years, and his dreams ended far too soon, leaving us all with a large hole in our hearts.
Matt is preceded in death by his father, Ralph; grandparents; and father-in-law, Dave. He is survived by his loving wife, Angie; sons, Jon (Melanie), Jake, and Joe; cherished grandsons, Ayden and Dylan; mother, Meg; siblings, Maggie (Josh), Amy, and Becky (Matt); mother-in-law, Kathy; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 22nd at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM.
In honor of Matt’s generous spirit, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, you consider performing an act of kindness or lending a helping hand to someone in need—just as he always did.
