Matthew (Matt) George Muntean

Age 59 of south St. Paul passed away September 5th 2022 of heart failure.

Preceded in death by parents Daniel and Veronica Muntean.

Survived by his beloved wife Karen; daughter Allishia (Travis) Norby; son Michael (Corissa) Yantes; grandchildren Holland, Destiny, Dakotah, Justin, and Elijah; siblings Debbie, and Pete (Tina); nephews Justin, and Alex; grandniece Emma; numerous cousins; extended family; and many many friends.

Matt was a genuine soul with a heart of gold, had a contagious smile and laugh, he knew how to make people laugh and always had a joke for everything. He loved his community and friends and was always willing to help if he was asked; no questions.
He loved riding his motorcycle and going up north to his best friend Vince's cabin with the guys; going four wheeling and just having guy time.
Matt was beyond proud of his family and loved his time with his granddaughter, Holland, more than anything. Going to see his grandson play football was a major highlight. All around his grandchildren where his favorite and every chance he had he would go see them.
Matt touched so many lives; he always went above and beyond for everyone. He could talk to pretty much anyone and make friends anywhere he went. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Loved by many missed by all!

A celebration of life will be held September 29, 2022 at the Crooked Pint Ale House (1734 Adolphus Street; Maplewood, MN 55117) from 4 to 8 PM.
