Maureen A. (Neagle)
Maureen left the party early. She had another party she had to attend so danced out the door on July 29, 2013. Preceded in death by her sister Shannon Neagle and mother Grace Neagle. Survived by her dancing and life partner husband, John; son, Jay; daughter, Katie (Shawn) Bernier; grandchildren, Luke Bernier and Brigid Bernier; father, George Neagle; sisters, Shelley (Mark) Dean and Erin (Steve) Berens; and many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Maureen was a long time employee of St. Paul Public Schools holding many positions from teacher to senior administration. She was a strong advocate of public education and worked tirelessly to promote and improve it. After retirement she volunteered on a Board of a Charter School specializing in working with kids with autism and on a Board of a charity working for the hungry and homeless. She will be truly missed by her family, relatives and many many friends. A celebration of family and friends and the wonderful relationships she treasured will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd. 5), with a time of sharing at 4P.M. Wearing black, white and/or red clothing would be ideal. Memorials are preferred to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Fraser Academy or Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless.
