A memorial service for May O. Van Tassel, age 86, of Stillwater will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 3:00 P.M. at Bradshaw Funeral Home, 6061 North Osgood at Highway 36 in Stillwater. There will be a visitation from 1:30 P.M. until time of service. Private interment at Fairview Cemetery.
May was a schoolteacher in Stillwater. Survived by her children, Hodge (Barbara) of Stillwater, Carolyn (Grover) Gilbertson of Sequim, WA, Victoria (Richard) Perry of Englewood, FL, Miriam (Carl) Blackwell of Oakdale, Ted (Mary) of Stillwater; brother, Walter (Leora) Ortman; sister, Lillian (Ray) Krehbiel both of Freeman, SD; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
May was preceded in death by her husband, Beltram; sister and brother-in-law, Esther (Kenneth) Thompson of Davenport, IA.
