Mercedes Chaney

On January 4th 2021 Mercedes Chaney, Loving mother of two passed away at the age of 27. Mercedes was born on January 5th 1993 in St. Paul MN to Maureen Chapman and Michael Dotterweich. She received her cosmetology license in 2017 and worked at a couple salons she loved making others feel great! Mercedes had a passion for writing she placed her entire heart on her poetry, she also loved to draw she showed a lot of her emotions in her art. Mercedes spent most of her time modeling before she became a mommy to two amazing little girls Kyra Asher and Skye Dahl. She loved music, at random times she would bust out her goofy moves and have everyone laughing. Her smile and laugh was contagious, she could light up any room she walked into. Mercedes Preceded in death by her mother Maureen, Grandfather Roger, Aunt Lynette, Nephew Jaxson and other missed relatives. She is Survived by Grandmother Lorraine chapman siblings Tara (James) Wirtz, Bobbi Ward, Christopher Kulm, Raphael Roger, Rochelle Tungland, Levi (Martessa) Metty, Haley Metty, Shay Metty and Amber Metty, Lots of nieces and Nephews and aunts and uncles. Mercedes will be missed by many. A funeral service will be held 11am Thursday, January 14th 2021 at Bradshaw, 1078 Rice Street, St. Paul. Attendance is limited.
