Age 86
Loved the Lord and his family with his whole heart. Passed away peacefully May 7th, 2012. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary; son, Jeffrey; parents, and 2 brothers. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Ellen (Kevin) Herber; grandchildren, Kristen, Colin, Lucas, and Bryce; brother, Glenn; cousins and many dear friends. WWII Army Veteran and received the Good Conduct and European Medals, Bronze Star, and 2 Purple Hearts. A celebration of Merlin's life will be Friday, 11:00 A.M. at NORTH PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 2675 East Hwy 36, North St. Paul. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. Visitation two hours prior to the service at church. The family wishes to thank the staff at Good Samaritan, Stillwater for their exceptional loving care for Merlin and his family through the years.
