Michael Appleton

Michael Christian Appleton was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on December 26, 1992, and passed away in St. Paul on March 8, 2019. Michael is survived by loving parents, father Michael Appleton (Debbie) and mother Lorraine Crosby (Michael Longbehn). Michael is also survived by the three loves of his life, son Jude Appleton, daughter Stormy Appleton, and their mother Genna Buck. Michael was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and also later lived in Red Wing, Minnesota. There he met his lifelong best friend Carissa Bordthauser. Michael is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michael will missed by his siblings on the Appleton side of his family. Michael was a loving son, father, uncle, nephew, brother, and cousin, and will be missed dearly. Michael and his mother moved away from Minnesota as a young boy and he finished growing up in and around Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Michael graduated from Neshaminy High School. Michael was skilled at working on cars with a special knack for body work and detailing. Michael was also an accomplished chef and cooking professionally was one of his passions. Michael loved the outdoors especially fishing with his dad and was so very proud of that one big bass he caught as a little boy. For all of his brief life Michael most loved music. Michael had a zest for music like no other. Whether he was listening, playing any of the many instruments he mastered, singing, or writing it, music and Michael had a special relationship that will last for all time. Remembering Michael and his passion for music will help his loved ones heal as they grieve this unthinkable loss. Michael had a infectious smile and it was rare to see him when he wasn't flashing that wide grin. Michael was blessed with rugged and handsome good looks, but still possessed that little boyish grin that could melt your heart. Michael and his "Mama bear" had a very special, and deep connection. Lorraine always called Michael her "Sugar bear" Michael and Lorraine could read each other's thoughts, and often finished each other sentences. Michael was called home way too early. Michael is a Child of God and is a believer. Michael left us knowing we will all be reunited one day, and he will be sorely missed until that day. Michael's service will be held at the Bradshaw Funeral home at 1078 Rice St. in St. Paul, Mn. Visitation and family time is from 10:00 to 11:00. Prayers and remembrance from 11:00 to 11:30. At 11:30 everyone will accompany Michael to his final resting place at The Oakland Cemetery. Immediately following the service, everyone is invited to a luncheon at The Gustavus Adolphus Church at 1669 Arcade St in St. Paul.
