Michael J. Bishop

Michael J. Bishop (Mike) was born in Ontario, Canada on August 31, 1950. He was adopted by Arthur & Patricia Bishop and lived on a farm until they moved to St. Paul, MN. He graduated from Central High school, and met his wife, Antonia, at Regions Hospital (formerly known as Ramsey Hospital) when he was 18 and she was 17.
Mike was an avid lover of all sports, even partaking in some by joining teams, such as bowling and softball. He enjoyed watching wrestling and football as well.
He retired after 20 plus years of being a Metro City bus driver.
Mike was a devoted family man, loved being a husband, father, and godfather, but most of all a grandfather to his three grandchildren .
Mike retired in 2013. Spending his time with family and friends, also enjoying various happy hours, playing pull tabs, and going to the casino.
He will forever be remembered as a man who could find joy in any situation, always having a smile or a making a joke. And he sure had a love for Wendy's.
Mike is survived by his wife of 31 years, Antonia; daughters, Leticia (Jeff) Rosalez and Maudie Moreno; grandchildren, Michael (A’sha), Montero, and Isabella; great-grandchildren, Key’shawn and Aiyanna; and many family and friends.
Celebration of Life Tuesday, June 28th at Faith Lutheran Church – ELCA, 499 Charles Ave, St. Paul. Greeting 4:30-5:10pm. Prayer Service 5:15pm.
