Michael Lameyer

Michael (Mike) LaMeyer was born on January 30th, 1970, to Bruce LaMeyer and Bonnie Reeves. His parents remember Michael as a precocious child with endless curiosity, energy, and an unmatched tenderness of heart.

Michael grew up an explorer of the world, often using music and art as the gateway to new ideas and understandings. Even though he supported his family as an engineer, Michael's true passion was more organic, always sparked by new drawings, computer animations, and his work on musical projects.

During Michael's time with us, he made a point to always help anyone with whatever he could, never second-guessing his decision. Anyone who knows Michael knows that his family meant everything to him; in his eyes, each of you reading this was family.

In 2002 Michael met his wife Samisha, and they made a beautiful life together, including their two daughters, Asha and Ena LaMeyer, and Michael's eldest daughter Maggie. Michael and Samisha supported and encouraged each other as life led them from Denver, to L.A., to Boston, and now to Stillwater. Michael's favorite place in the world was the cabin with the family. Although he lived in many places - the cabin was always his home.

Michael passed on tragically on October 27th, 2022. Michael's memory lives on in his wife, Samisha, and daughters, Maggie, Asha, and Ena. And Michael's Parents Bruce and Sue LaMeyer, Bonnie Reeves and Jim Reeves. In Michael's Brothers Chad & Heidi LaMeyer, Matthew & Candice LaMeyer, and Sisters & family; Sarah & Kevin Finerghty, Kim Hulting, and Micki Hulting. Michael's in-laws & family; Ashim Raj & Sumitra Joshi and Maneesha & Ramesh Giri. In Michael's nieces & nephews; Marcus & Lindsey LaMeyer, Justin & Drew LaMeyer, Sparsh Joshi, Celena Joshi, Chyan Giri, Nirvan Giri, Sofia La Meyer, Arwyn Giri, Silas Finerghty, Olivia La Meyer and Raelynn La Meyer. In Michael's aunts and uncles, Polly Hunting, Sherry & Mike LaGuire, Garry & Diane Yohn, Joe & Yohn, Greg & Laurie Yohn, Jeff & Kris Yohn, Kevin Yohn, Don & Anne Sullivan. And cousins, Scott & Judy Ziemkowski, Deb & Darryl, Heineke, Deanna &Tim Brake, Eric Yohn, David Yohn, Travis Yohn, Heather & Pat Harvey, Katie Yohn, Andy Yohn, Taylor Yohn, Jason Yohn, Kayla & Jake Fort, JP Sullivan, Cassie Sullivan and more cousins & relatives in Minnesota and Nepal.

Michael went to join the memory of His Grandmothers Jennie LaMeyer and Virginia Yohn Houg, Grandfather William Yohn, Mother-in-law Gauri Rana Joshi, Uncle Daniel Yohn, Niece Hailee LaMeyer and Nephew Charlie Finerghty.

Michael, you were adored and loved more than you can imagine. May the force be with you, always.
