Mike was born in Plum City, Wisconsin to Earl and Rose Sagstetter. Mike graduated from Sibley High School in West Saint Paul, Minnesota in 1964. Mike went to Trade school for carpentry and welding in Saint Paul Technical College. Mike was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Stillwater Minnesota. Mike is survived by his Sons Spencer and Steven, five siblings Sandra Sagstetter of Elmwood, Wisconsin, Mary Polasky of Littleton, Colorado, James (Mary) Sagstetter of Rochester, Minnesota, Lawrence (Cheryl) Sagstetter of Eau Galle, Wisconsin, and Robert (Wendy) Sagstetter of Ellsworth, Wisconsin, and many nieces & nephews.
Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and woodworking. Mike was a handy man and contractor who was a friend to all. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00AM on Thursday, August 31st at CHURCH OF ST. MICHAEL, 611 South Third Street, Stillwater. Interment St. Henry's Cemetery, Eau Galle, WI at 3:30PM. Visitation 5-8PM on Wednesday August 30th at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater and one hour prior to Mass at church.
