Schneibel, Michael, A.

Age 69, of St. Paul, MN passed away February 11, 2023 at Regions Hospital.

Preceded in death by parents Augustine T. Schneibel and Theresa M. Schneibel (Weisbeck).

After graduating from Roosevelt High School Michael enlisted in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Power Plant Operator and Nuclear Power Plant Engineering Lab Tech serving on the USS Silversides submarine during the Vietnam War. After his time in the service, Michael went on to work for the United States Postal Office for 20 years. In his later life he dedicated 15 years to The Union Gospel Mission where he could give back to the community. Michael was a lover of all sports and played golf any chance he got. He was witty, sarcastic, smart (loved Jeopardy and could beat anyone who dared to challenge him), and did exactly what he wanted to when he wanted to do it. Michael is survived by his siblings: Katherine (Schneibel) and Ronald Chan of Columbia Heights, MN. Wayne and Teri (Bautzer) Schneibel of Vista, CA. Mark and Kathleen (Crowley) Schneibel of Plymouth, MN. Rev. Jeffery Schneibel, CSC of Portland, OR. Theresa (Schneibel) Hendrickson of Minneapolis, MN. Amy (Schneibel) and Scott Aydinalp of Plymouth, MN. Deborah (Schneibel) and Randall Guse of Plymouth, MN. His children: Angela (Schneibel) and Gentry McQuiston of Galivants Ferry, SC. Dylan and Heather (Hagan) Schneibel of Cottage Grove, MN. Jeremy Schneibel of Maplewood, MN. Dr. Amanda (Schneibel) and Richard Capote of Minot AFB, ND. His 9 grandchildren: Derrick, McKayla, Madison, Isabel, Hailey, Justin, Richie, Jeremy, and Evan. His 19 nieces and nephews, countless cousins, and many friends.
