89, passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 201.Milt was born August 1, 1928 to Oscar and Ellen Krona in Princeton, MN. Milt was preceded in death by his spouse of 61 years, Marlene (Swanson) Krona and sister, Mildred Glaholt. He is survived by 4 daughters; Leslie, Pam (Dean) Schulte, Nancy (Mike Lucas) and Mari (Mark) Ekblad; 6 grandchildren; Taiga, Noah & Reed Lucas and Madeline, Marena & Mason Ekblad. He graduated from Minneapolis Central High School and Iowa State University. He worked for Minneapolis Parks for 13 years. Milt then enjoyed a long career with the MN Dept. of Natural Resources State Parks, planning and developing parks throughout the state. His favorite park was always "the last one I was in". Retirement included building and moving to the stuga, adventure travel trips and activities with communities of friends and family. Visitation Wednesday, May 16th at 10:00AM with memorial service 11:00 AM at JOHANNA SHORES, 3220 Lake Johanna Blvd., Arden Hills, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Parks & Trails Council of MN or a favorite "Friends of a Park" group.
