Age 84, of Minneapolis, died peacefully on September 2 in Fergus Falls, MN where she was visiting family. Survived by sons, Bruce (Neva), Terry (Kathy), and Todd (Marie) Burton, and daughter-in-law, Janice Burton; grandchildren, Keith (Missey), Jeff (Kathy), Shannon and Sarah Burton; great-grandchildren, Tony, Bailey, and Braiden Burton; step-grandchildren, Josh (Janell) Royce and Emily Royce; step-great-granddaughter, Izabell Eberhardt; sister, Florence Knorr; and brother, Wallace (Flo) Wright. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Lowell W. Burton; son, Scott Burton; and brother, Lawrence Wright. Myrtle worked in housekeeping at Fairview (Riverside) University Hospital for more than 20 years. She loved her family, her friends, working on her lawn and flowers, and sharing her Watergate Cake and rhubarb desserts at family gatherings. Service Saturday, September 11 at 2 p.m. at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S., Minneapolis, with visitation at 1 p.m. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
