Age 48 of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away on August 21, 2024.
Nakia attended Como High School, where he played football. He was a bright and gifted student. Nakia always had a good and kind heart and was loved by many. Although he faced an ongoing struggle with addition, he met each day with that beautiful and kind heart.
He is survived by his mother, Sandy Jones; brothers, David Scott Nelson, Jr., and Cecil Scott Nelson; niece, Alicianna; and many Aunts & Uncles & Cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Nakia LaBatte will be held on Thursday, September 5 with a visitation at 10:30 AM and service at 11:30 AM at Galilee Lutheran Evangelical (145 N McCarrons Blvd.)
