Nancy Michel Lambert

Age 57 of Afton, formerly of Louisiana

Nancy passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on January 21, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. Nancy was a devoted mom and a loving wife. She was known nationally as one of the Power 100 women in Security Industry Association (SIA). Nancy graduated from Georgia Tech with a BSCE and Loyola Law School New Orleans with a law degree specializing in intellectual property. Upon graduation, she spent two years as a judicial law clerk for the Louisiana Supreme Court. Her career included being a chemical engineer for the Dupont Corporation, patent attorney for 3M and Donaldson Corporation, and at the time of her passing was Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Dormakaba USA. She loved to travel the world. She had a passion for horses which included showing, riding, and rehabilitating thoroughbred racehorses. Nancy was a strong mentor for young women. She was on the Minnesota Council on Economic Education and board member of Wishes & More Children's Charity.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 28 years, Gary; sons, Jared (Candace), Joshua (Coleman), and Dylan; grandchildren, Kendall and Jace; parents, Christine (John) Holmes and Craig (Dana) Lawrence; siblings, Bryan (Bailey), Allison, Todd (Elizabeth), and Ruth Anne (Ken); many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
