Of Woodbury, MN, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 after a long illness that she fought with grace and determination. She will be remembered for her zest for life, quick wit, an undeniable fashion sense and for her love of family and friends. She was born August 16, 1957 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Melvin and Mary Ann Rice. Nancy spent nearly 30 years working for Northwest/Delta Airlines as a Flight Attendant. She traveled the globe, and during her time at Delta she developed some of the most beautiful friendships at work and outside. She was loved and cherished by her peers and friends. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed playing golf. She was a fierce competitor, enjoyed fine wine, good foods, and spending time with her friends and family. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Rice and sister, Terri. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Abe A. Zaatari; father, Melvin Rice; sister, Sue Rice; brothers, Steven and Tom Rice; nieces and nephews. A celebration of Nancy's life will be Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 3:00P.M., BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater. Family will receive friends following the service.
