Naomi Bell

Naomi Zachary Bell age 92 of St. Paul, MN died on July 12, 2017. Naomi is survived her children Broderick Bell (Patricia), Portia Ramos (Pedro) and Hamilton Bell (Jill), six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, all eight siblings, and her husband, Norman Bell.

Naomi was born in Sioux City, Iowa. She and her family moved to St. Paul, MN in 1930. She was an active member of Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church where she grew up singing in the church choir.

Naomi received an Associate Degree from the University of MN in early childhood education. In her early career, she ran early childhood learning and after school programs at various community centers in St. Paul. She ended her working career assisting children with special needs at Bridgeview School in St. Paul.

In retirement Naomi became active in social justice. Her lively spirit and delicious baked goods will be missed by those who loved her.

The family would like to thank St. Anthony Park Home for the loving care they gave Naomi over the past seven years. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred to Camphor United Methodist Church and St. Anthony Park Home.
