Neil Junker

A memorial service for Neil A. Junker, 66, of Clayton, WI, formerly of Stuard, FL., will be held on November 13, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 115 No. 4th St., Stillwater, MN. Visitation from 9:30 - 11 a.m. at the church. Mr. Junker died Sunday, November 10, 2002 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

He was born July 25, 1936, in Stillwater. Mr Junker was a beloved husband, father and grandpa. He graduated from the U of M, where he was a member of the 1960 NCAA championship baseball team. He retired from Lutheran Brotherhood Financial Services in 2000. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Junker, Sr. and brother, Joseph "Dutz" Junker, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; sons, Todd (Kathy), Tim and Troy (Jennifer); grandchildren, Talia, Tonna, Todd Jr., Adam, Jennaya, Rebecca, Anne and Nicholas; mother, Iva; siblings, Richard (Barbara), John (Jean), David (Beverly), Nancy (Jerome) Eder, James (Deborah), Jeffrey (Cathy), and Stephanie; mother-in-law, Jeanette Scheunemann; brother-in-law, Art (Michelle Owens) Scheunemann; many nieces and nephews. Memorials are preferred to the Univ. of Minn. Dugout Club or Lakeview Hospice.
