Newman, age 88, of Minneapolis. Survived by loving wife, LaRue; son, Mark; grandsons, Robert & John; sister, Virginia Oddan; other relatives and friends. Newman was a veteran of WWII where he served in Europe with the 90th Division under General Patton. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, October 2, 11:00 A.M. at CHURCH OF SAINT ALBERT THE GREAT, East 29th Street and 32nd Avenue South. Private interment. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Apartments or Trinity on Lake.
