Noel passed away peacefully at home on November 9th, 2017. Noel was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. He came to St. Paul in 1964 for his brother Eamon's wedding, and quickly found his second home. Noel and Jan married in 1985, and had one son, Brian. Noel was a proud father, and always devoted to his family and friends. He worked in the printing trade for over 40 years, was an active parishioner at St. John's, and an avid golfer and sports fan. Always full of Irish wit and charm, he deeply loved life and the people around him. He will be greatly missed.
Noel was preceded in death by his parents, John and Kathleen; brothers, Eamon and Patrick, and sister, Madeline. He is survived by his son, Brian; former spouse, Jan (Nee Kennedy); sisters, Una, Aileen, and Laura (Liam) Scott; brother, Fr. Brian, O.F.M., and 6 beloved nieces and nephews and their families. A Mass will be held Thursday, November 16th at 4:00 PM at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CHURCH, 380 Little Canada Rd E, Little Canada, MN. Visitation one hour prior to service, and a gathering of family and friends at the church to follow the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Sharing & Caring Hands or the American Lung Association. Finally, many heartfelt thanks to all of his doctors, nurses, and other care providers over the years.
