Nore Mitchell

May 8, 2024 — July 22, 2024

Nore Kay Mitchell

We were blessed with the most beautiful baby girl, Nore Kay Mitchell, on May 8, 2024; born at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. She entered this world with grace and beauty to parents, Erica White and Jacques Jerome Mitchell Jr, whose love for each other can not be put into words.

Her father, Jacques, named her Nore, which means shining light, sun ray and honor. In his family it is tradition that all first girls' have the middle-name Kay, after her grandmother and auntie.

As she entered heaven on July 22, 2024, Nore left behind her siblings, Jade'a White, Kiyan and Shyanne Martin, who will always remember their little sister's touch, and smile. As they say, "We will see her again in heaven."

Nore left this earth quietly, she went to sleep. As she entered into God's arms, angels surrounded her, and her family Larry Mosby (grandfather); Christine White (great-grandmother); Arnetta Mosby (great-grandmother); Steve White (great-uncle); L.C. Mitchell (great-grandfather); Laura Mitchell (great-grandmother); Jacques Mitchell, Sr., (grandfather); Thurman Mitchell (great-uncle); Nivey Mitchell (great-uncle); Egynn Thomas, Sr., (great-grandfather); Mary Thomas (great-grandmother), and Egynn Thomas, Jr.,(great-uncle) greeted her at heaven's gate.

Nore is survived by her parents, Erica and Jacques Jr.; siblings Jade'a, Kiyan and Shyanne of North St. Paul, Minnesota; great-grandmother, Cornell Mosby of Minneapolis, Minnesota; grandmothers Phyllis Mosby of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Deborah Mitchell of Albert Lea, Minnesota; her Aunts/Uncles, Danielle Sutton, Darrel Perkins, Ashley Sutton, Amber Mosby, and Perrion Mosby, all of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Raiaka Mitchell of Saint Paul, Minnesota; her Great Aunts/Uncles, Domingo Mitchell, and Cedric Mitchell both of Richman Hill, Georgia, Twyla Allen of Lakewood, Washington, Theodus Mitchell of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Conrad (Tabitha) Thomas of Fargo, North Dakota, and Jacqueline (Theolonious) Hall of Issaquah, Washington; her Cousins, Amina, Amir (Danielle/Darrel), Leah, Lania (Ashley), and Jaymin (Raiaka); as well as a host of cousins, friends and many who will miss her to the utmost.

In the quiet of this moment, in the midst of this shadow of grief the family seeks the presence of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Comfort us; in the gentle whisper of your spirit, remind us of the blessed hope we hold with you, our mighty God.

Funeral services for baby Nore will be held on Wednesday, July 31st at 12:30 PM at Bradshaw (1078 Rice Street) with visiation an hour prior.
