Norma Henriksen

Norma Jean Henriksen, 84, of Eagan, MN, passed away on May 13, 2021, following a short stay at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

On June 20, 1936, Norma was born in Ringsted, Iowa, to Fred and Amanda (Hansen). She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and attended rural and Ringsted Public Schools. In 1952, she married Leonard Matheson of Ringsted, IA, and went on to have four children Janet, Brian, Nancy, and Sheila. She was later married to David Peterson for several years. Norma was most proud of being a grandmother to six and great-grandmother to 13 kiddos, who all called her Grammy Pooh.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her beloved grandson. She is survived by her four children, five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren who will miss her every day.
