Age91, of Minneapolis, formerly of St. James, MN passed away peacefully from complications of pneumonia on November 7, 2013 at the U of M Hospital surrounded by friends. Preceded in death by parents, Carl and Gladys Hovden. She will be dearly missed by good friends, Nancy and Stephanie Hawkinson, Mary Combs, and Jay Griep. She was a long time librarian at the University of Minnesota and member of Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church and the Fidalis Circle. She loved to travel, read, and gave to many charities. She will be deeply missed by many friends. A funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 11 AM at MINNEHAHA COMMUNION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4101 37th Ave S., Minneapolis with a visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Donations are welcome to a charity of choice.
