Norman I.
Age 90, of Woodbury, passed peacefully November 26, 2018 with his family at his side. A wonderful, loving, caring, supportive and involved Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather. He found joy, pride and was active in all the life events of his family; especially the sports, arts and educational events of his grandsons and great-grandchildren. US Navy Veteran, life-long member and past vice president of GCC/IBT Local 1-B, member of VFW #15024 and American Legion #501. Preceded in death by parents, Hyman and Sarah Burton (nee Marofsky); siblings, Albert "Sonny" Burton, Sherman Burton, Dorothy Burton-King, and Raymond Burton. Survived by son, James (Celeste "Sally") Burton; grandsons, Jacob (Erin) Burton and Jason Burton (Bryenne Albright); great-grandchildren, Carter Burton, Keira Burton, Taylor Hamersley and Cody Albright; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff at St. John's Hospital for their loving care. A celebration of Norman's life will be Saturday, December 8, 2018, 3:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service.
