Died unexpectedly on December 8th. Preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Trembley; father-in-law, Clemence Finke and Norma Horton. Survived by father, Norm Horton, Sr.; wife, JoAnn; son, Mark (Dianne); daughters, Linda (fiancAC., Ben), Nancy (Chad) Olson; grandchildren, Evan, Travis, Jared, Veronika and Alyona Horton. Also survived by sisters and brothers, JoAnn (Duane) Samuelson, Jeanne Talmadge, Roland and Eugene Horton; half brother, Thomas Horton and half sister, Rebecca Penovich; many nieces and nephews. Norm was a graduate of Hamline University. He was active in many civic and business organizations through the years; the Minnesota Auto Wreckers Association, St. Paul Winter Carnival Prince of the North Wind in 1978 and numerous church organizations. His passion for life will be missed by all. We will celebrate Norm?s life with a service Thursday, 11:00 A.M. at PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 13801 Fairview Drive, Burnsville. Private interment Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 4:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Highway 96 (one mile west of 35E), White Bear and also one hour prior to the service at church. Memorials are preferred to donor?s choice.
