Patricia Bronson

Patricia Ann (Mathy) Bronson passed away peacefully on September 29, 2014 in St. Paul, MN. She was born in Napoleon, OH, on March 17, 1929, daughter of A.L. and Gladys (Gemlich) Mathy. Her family moved often during her childhood, due to her father's road construction business, eventually settling in LaCrosse, WI. She graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, with a Speech Communications degree. She met her best friend and future husband, Charles Bronson, there, and the two enjoyed 63 years of married life. Pat was a gracious hostess and committed voulenteer, serving as a founding member of the Evanston (IL) Garden Club and devoting hours to the Chicago Botanical Society and the Douglas County Hospital Auxilary. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed tennis and golf. She is survived by her husband, Charles; children, Mark (Loretta) and Laura (Kurt Jorgenson); and grandchildren, Katherine (Art Errickson), John and Spencer. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary Lou Reisinger, brother, Charles Mathy, and sisters-in-law, Marion Gaskill and Virginia Bronson. Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 10:30AM at Waverly Gardens Chapel, North Oaks, MN
