Patricia Martineau

Pat passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, surrounded by her loving children. Pat was born to Sylvio and Ann Tiziani on October 23, 1939, in Ironwood, Michigan. Pat grew up in Ironwood with her three sisters and attended St. Ambrose Catholic School, where she met the love of her life, Phil. Pat then went on to graduate with a nursing degree from the College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, in 1960. Shortly after graduation, she married Phil and had the first of her five children the following year. Pat was a long-time resident of Stillwater, Minnesota, and spent most of her nursing career at Lakeview Memorial Hospital in Stillwater.

Pat enjoyed all things crafty, including crocheting and knitting beautiful things. Pat also enjoyed any kind of gadget, reading the newspaper and filling out the crossword, creating money origami, sending jokes, rock painting, and weekly bingo with friends and family. If you ever met Pat, you probably have one of her money origami hearts or origami dress shirts! She loved to laugh and had a hard time telling a joke, and that will be a cherished memory.  The joy in Pat's life was her family above all else and she was a devoted, giving and incredibly loving wife, mom, and grandmother.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Phil.

Pat is survived by her three sisters: Chris Zylka of Duluth, Diane (Bob) Johnson of Reno, Nevada, and Renee Tiziani; her five children: Steve (Jeanne) Martineau, Phillip (Violeta) Martineau, Marilyn (Randy) Ford, Michelle (Tim) Berggren, and Jon (Michele) Martineau. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren: Tony, Jessica, Christopher, Paul, Loren, Chase, Carina, Colin, Rachel, Megan, Aaron, Elise, Julia, and Jamie; and her 8 great-grandchildren, Sydney, Carson, Leigha, James, Ashlyn, Ariella, Waverly, Magnolia (and one on the way). Pat also leaves behind many faithful nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center in Stillwater from 2:00-4:00 pm with a time of sharing at 3:00pm.
