Pat "Mombo" (QUINN) ULSETH
Age 89, of North Oaks/Roseville. Passed away on September 2. Survived by husband Jack; children Jill Konrath, Tiny (Dan) Francisco, Tex (Dean) Kloeckner, Steve Ulseth and eight grandchildren. Pat grew up in St. Paul, MN and graduated from Johnson High School where she was homecoming queen and valedictorian (just kidding!). After a short stint as a secretary, she married Jack; they recently celebrated their 67th anniversary. Pat stayed at home to raise her kids, correct their grammar and create memorable experiences. She embraced the Cat in the Hat's motto: "It's fun to have fun, but you have to know how" - and she did! She spent sixty summers at her cabin in Crosslake, her favorite place in the world. Guests were always welcomed with a fresh pot of coffee, a sincere interest in their lives and lots of laughter. She organized Anty Pat's Youth Club, Spook Nights, card games, pizza parties and water fights. As a life-long sports fan, Pat was passionate about youth, high school and college hockey (Go Gophers!). In her later years, she enjoyed reading obituaries and clipping recipes - even if she never cooked them. She made everyone feel great, by telling them, "You're the best one!" We all believed her! Visitation on Wednesday, September 13 at 6 pm, followed at 7 pm by a slightly quirky Celebration of Life at North Oaks Golf Club (54 E. Oaks Rd., North Oaks, MN). Memorials preferred to Special Olympics BEARS Team (3748 McCracken Lane, Arden Hills, MN 55112).
