Patrick Cleary

Patrick (Pat) Cleary was born on St. Patrick's Day in 1955 to John and Ella. He was the middle boy in a family of 3 boys and 6 girls. Pat formed uniquely special relationships with his siblings and they loved him more deeply with each shenanigan, each story, each adventure and day shared.
Pat married his wife, Sue, in September 1980 and began his career at 3M, retiring as a service manager in February 2012. Pat loved fast motorcycles, making and drinking wine, coaching, mentoring, all types of deconstruction and demolition, digging out tree stumps and was always willing to lend a hand. He became the ER of Elks Lodge #179 in April 2016. It was a role he proudly filled, looking forward to the future of the lodge.
Pat and Sue were dedicated to raising their 4 children. Each child carries a trait that represents the best of their father. Brendan carries the qualities necessary for business management and technology. Caitlin models her father's dedication to hard work and love of family. Alyssa displays the inner sensitivities and gentleness to love and parent well. Kevan displays that zest for adrenaline pumping adventure and willingness to help someone in need.
Pat was called to heaven suddenly and unexpectedly on August 12th. Our hearts hurt but we are comforted by the examples of Pat we see in the people surrounding us and in the stories you all share about him.
