Cady, Paul Age 65 Of Brooklyn Park

Passed away peacefully after an unexpected diagnosis of leukemia on January 21, 2024. He was a true fighter having previously survived liver cancer and subsequently a liver transplant in 2013.

Survived by sons, Benton (Cherie) and Charles; granddaughter, Charlotte; mother, Ardis Willcox; sister, DeeAnn Cady (Alan Butler); brother, David Cady; nephews, Erik and Ivan; mother in law, Darleen Cornelius; sister in law, Peggi (Gino) Monico; niece, Anna; special friend, Katie Bergstrom and other family members and friends.

Preceded in death by wife, Charlene Cady; father, Benton Cady; step father, Robert Willcox; and father in law, Charles Cornelius.

Paul was loving, graceful and loyal. Paul graduated from Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans, Vermont in 1976. He received his Personnel Services and Computer Science degrees from Moorhead State University. At MSU he was a member of the Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity and is also where he met Char. Paul and Char were married on August 20th, 1983. In 1984 when Paul pursued his law degree at William Mitchell College of Law they moved to the Twin Cities and eventually settled in White Bear Lake.

Paul was a true professional and proud to be general counsel at the Anoka-Hennepin School District for over 25 years where he retired. Paul loved to spend time at the lake cabin, go for motorcycle rides, and smoke cigars with his friends at Tobacco Grove.

Memorial service Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 4:00 PM with visitation 3:00 PM at CHRIST THE KING LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1660 Birch Lake Ave White Bear Lake. Live stream: ctkwbl.online.church
