Age 91, of White Bear Lake, peacefully passed away September 15, 2014, at the Waverly Gardens Care Center-North Oaks. Pauline received her under-graduate degree from Macalester College in Minnesota and graduate degree from George Williams College in Illinois. She was most proud of the staff work she did with the Minnesota State Legislature from 1953-1959 and her active participation in running of the Havenor Funeral Home. Pauline was involved in many local activities including membership at First Lutheran Church, Church Women's Circle, position of Secretary of the School Board for 33 years, past President of the Women's Club, past Worthy Matron of the White Bear Chapter of Eastern Star. Her favorite pastimes included traveling with family and friends, playing Mah Jong, reading and movies. She also loved to tell jokes. Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Roy D. Havenor, parents, Henry and Julia Borchers, and brother and sister-in-law, Henry "Jack" and Beverly Borchers. Pauline is survived by her loving family, daughter, Linda Havenor, son, Scott (Fei) Havenor, grandson, Anton Havenor, and granddaughter, Cassandra Havenor and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 26, 2014, at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4000 Linden Street, White Bear Lake, MN. There will be an opportunity to visit with the family after the service. A private interment will be held in Eleva, WI. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the donor's charity of choice or the First Lutheran Church of White Bear Lake.
