Phillip passed away unexpectedly at his home in Saint Paul on March 17th, 2021. He was born on January 26th, 1956. He graduated from high School in Chicago and moved to Saint Paul, MN to continue his education. He received a J.S.D., Doctor of the Science of Law degree from the Hamline University.

Phillip lived with PHUONG BUI since 1994. They were together for almost 30 years. He was a loving, caring, and compassionate husband.

Phillip worked as criminal lawyer for more than 30 years. He was an ethical, respectable lawyer. Phil was dedicated to his work. He enjoyed Vietnamese culture, food, and activities. He enjoyed reading, playing guitar, and watching sports. He enjoyed his large collection of guitars as well. Phil was actively involved in volunteering at the police department and disaster cleaning, along with Vietnamese community consulting laws.

Phillip is survived by his wife, PHUONG BUI; his mom Nancy; siblings, Dan, Jim and Katy; nieces and nephews, and the rest of his family and friends.

A visitation for Philip will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 1-3PM at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice Street, St. Paul, MN 55117.

Service to be held Monday, March 22, 2021 at 10AM at St. Adalbert's Church, 265 Charles Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55103.
