Philip Lee

It's with deep sadness and love that we announce the passing of Philip Lee, who peacefully passed away surrounded by family on April 14, 2025, at the age of 56.

Philip was born on December 6, 1968, in Laos and raised in Toledo, Ohio. As an adult, he moved to Michigan, later returned to Toledo, and eventually found his home in St. Paul, MN, where he spent his final days.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mai Youa, and their six children: Justin (Doua), Amelia (Javon), Claire, Destiny (Kai), Joshua, and Abby. He was the proud Grandpa to: Jalia, Jayden, Nathan, Alayna, Kassie, Maylin, Nora and Nova.

Philip is also survived by his mother, Khoua Kha Lee and is reunited in Heaven with his Father, Say Yang Lee, who passed in 2014. He leaves behind a large and loving family, his wife, kids, grandkids, two brothers, seven sisters, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended relatives who will miss him dearly.

Philip spent many years as a trusted and respected home and auto insurance agent. Known for his commitment to his clients, he built lasting relationships and a solid reputation in the community.

Outside of work, Philip loved the outdoors - hunting, fishing and enjoying the beauty of nature. He had an adventurous heart and traveled to Mexico, Hong Kong, South Korea, Vietnam, Hawaii, France and the Caribbeans.

He will be remembered for his easy-going nature and the calm steady presence he brought into every room. Philp will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held on May 24, 2025 at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater, MN 55082. Family and Friends are invited to come together to honor and remember Philip with love and gratitude.
