LeRoy Henry. Born 11-19-1926 in Hillman, MN. Died 1-15-2007 with his daughter, Holly by his side at Fairview Southdale Hospital. Resident of Richfield Woodlake Point. Preceded in death by wife, Mary May; and parents, Henry and Marie. Survived by daughter, Holly Cooper (Randy); granddaughters, Nicole and Marilee; brother, Clarence of Mpls; sisters, Betty Samuelson of Milwaukee, WI, Francis Ring of Seattle, WA, and Leonette Anthony of Tacoma, WA; also survived by 10 nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Merchant Marines and was a Korean War Veteran. He worked as an over the road truck driver for Werner Transportation for 30 years and was a member of St. Peder's Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Roy loved to laugh, loved music and played the accordion. Organization and conservatism were his second nature. He was tough, and we learned a lot from him. We will all miss him until we see him again. Service Friday, 11:00 A.M. at ST PEDER'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4600 East 42nd Street, Minneapolis. Entombment Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation Thursday (TODAY), 5:00-8:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South and also one hour prior to the service at church.
