Raeann Pelnar

Born December 18th 1958 and went to live with Jesus on November 23, 2018. Much loved daughter of, Charles J. and Darleen (Rahn) Pelnar. RaeAnn left this world unexpectedly and left behind many who loved and admired her. Nan, as her family called her, loved children and animals. She grew up in Bayport, MN, graduated from Stillwater High school and went on to graduate from the Medical Institute of Minnesota with certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician. She worked primarily in the medical field but also did work at the Humane Society and with Animal Control Services. RaeAnn loved to cook and the entire family would look forward to whatever she was bringing to family gatherings. This amazing gentle giant will be enormously missed by her son, Killion; daughter, Rebecca; god-daughters, Rose Shockency and Anica Bondeson; brother, Dean (Terry); sisters, Kathi Pelnar (Mark Turnbull), Laurie Pelnar; nephews, Jason (Lisa) Pelnar, Kevin, Zach (Tiffany) Pelnar and her two special fur people, Charlotte and Kailey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Darleen Pelnar and grandparents, Walter and Sada Rahn and Charles and Esther Pelnar. Per her request there will be no elaborate funeral service. In the spring a tree will be planted, again per her request, in her honor.
