Age 90 of Marine on St. Croix

Passed away peacefully on August 6, 2024. Preceded in death by wife, Marian; daughter, Elizabeth; brother, Allan. Ralph will be deeply missed by those who survive him: children, Andrew (Terry Shadley), Jennifer (Erik) Henry; grandchildren, Samantha (Matt) Lunder, Natalie (Alec) Mason; great-grandson, Lars Lunder; other family and friends. Long the center of activity in Marine on St. Croix, Ralph owned and operated the Marine General Store, and later opened an airline crew specialty store. He was essential in the development of cross-country ski racing in the area, including founding the Marine O'Brien Ski Race.

A funeral service for Ralph will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 16 at Ascension Episcopal Church, 214 3rd St N, Stillwater, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Oakland Cemetery, Marine on St. Croix.
