Died Monday, September 3, 2007 after living a life marked by compassion, gratitude, and the phenomena of learning that fear is the real cancer. Rand was a graduate of Irondale High School and Northwestern University, in Illinois. He worked as a legislative analyst for the Minnesota Senate and was an avid musician and Twins fan. Survived by wife, Christine; children, Noah (Amanda) Bluesky and Leah Josephson; grandson, Jaxon Bluesky; father, Kent Hove; mother, Judy Hove Grant; siblings Mark (Leslie) Hove, Andrea Hokland, Janet Arones, and Stacy (Marc) Doepner-Hove; many nieces and nephews; and best friends, Bob Clague, Gary Pruitt and Cliss Smyrl. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 1 PM with a social gathering following at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd. (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co. Rd. 5). In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
