Knoll, Randall L.
64, of Grant, died unexpectedly of coronary artery disease on July 28, 2016. Survived by wife Janet, son Michael (Amanda), daughter Bianca Mary Jessica, grandson Erik, sister Sandra Schwans (Dareld) and other extended family. Randy grew up in Sioux Falls, SD and attended Augustana College and Iowa State University, where he earned his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering. Former employee of 3M and recent retiree of Medtronic. Actively involved at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church and Lutheran Social Service, Randy was a servant leader who worked diligently to make the world a better place. Memorial service Tues., Aug. 2, St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 900 Stillwater Road, Mahtomedi. Visitation 9:30 a.m., service 11 a.m. Memorials preferred to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church Community Resource Center.
