Buttschau, Raymond J. age 95 of Bloomington passed away peacefully on December 5, 2019.
Preceded in death by beloved wife, Ann J. Buttschau; son, Dale R. Buttschau; parents, James and Viola Buttschau. Will be greatly missed by children, Barb (Brian) Goad, John (Shawn Anne) Buttschau, Jeanne (Jeff) Leonard; grandchildren, David (Christine) Goad, Evan Goad, James (Emily) Leonard, Jacob Leonard, Jessica Leonard; great-grandchildren Asher, Clayton, Mira, and Selah Leonard; and a host of long-time and new-found friends.
Ray retired in 1988 after many years as a purchasing agent for the Minneapolis Public Schools. He was wonderful man who adored his wife, loved his children, and enjoyed lake life. He reveled in music, and entertained us by playing the guitar and singing harmony. At the age of 79 he began playing golf with an amazing group of friends, and also joined the Bloomington Good Times Barbershop Chorus, where he found his musical home. He enjoyed his coffee, day or night, and longed for the occasional fishing trip.
