Raymond Kessel

Raymond Robert Kessel, age 68 of Rush City, passed away December 16, 2021, after a short but fierce battle with acute myeloid leukemia.  Raymond grew up in St. Paul, MN and graduated from Central High School. He went on to work in building trades and the State of Minnesota.  Raymond was an avid pool player and enjoyed being a security guard at Holman Field in St. Paul guarding the Blackhawk helicopters.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Lindy Rubik; and his parents, Donald & Marjorie Kessel.  He is survived by his sister, RaDonna (Schumacher) Kessel; brother, Randy Kessel; nephews, Corey Kessel, Cary Kessel, Jeff Booher; nieces, Candice Kessel, Wendy Schumacher Martinez, Christy Schumacher; many great nieces/nephews & cousins and his best friend, BooBoo his dog.

Funeral service is 12:00pm Tuesday, December 21 at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice Street, St. Paul, MN  55117 with visitation one hour prior.  Interment at Roselawn Cemetery.
