Rev. Dennis Stutrud

Passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on Saturday, November 10, 2012.
Preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn M. Stutrud. Survived by his son, Mark Stutrud (Randi) and daughter, Mary Beth McKeeman (Scott); grandchildren, Benn (Joy), Marit, Tim (Nicole), Jon, Carissa and Lexi; and sister, Bonnie Melting. Dennis served as a Lutheran Pastor in Elgin, IA, Washington IA, Cedar Falls, IA, Merrilleville IN, and Tinley Park, IL. Dennis received degrees from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN and Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN. Dennis was a loving Pastor, friend, father and grandfather. He loved his family, friends and was a talented woodworker. Service Wednesday, November 14, 11:00 A.M. at OUR SAVIOR'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1616 West Olive Street, Stillwater. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials preferred to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
