Reverend Charles "Chuck" Claus

Age 92, of Stillwater, formerly of North St. Paul & Wayzata, passed gracefully to heaven on March 3, 2024.

Preceded in death by wife, Florence “Flo” and son, Kevin.

He will be sadly missed by sons, Joel and Chris (Julene); grandchildren, Mac (Lynsey), Madi, Jake and Rekha; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Chuck was a longtime pastor who served churches in New Jersey, Louisiana and Texas as well as St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church in Wayzata, St Mark’s Lutheran Church in North St. Paul and Trinity Lutheran Church in Stillwater. He was an avid fisherman and thoroughly enjoyed travel. Chuck and Flo travelled extensively throughout the world leading tours, religious tours and mission trips in Tanzania.

A celebration of Chuck’s life will be Saturday, March 9, 2024, 11:00 A.M. at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 115 North 4th Street, Stillwater with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to United Lutheran Seminary at Gettysburg, Gettysburg, PA or Trinity Lutheran Church, Stillwater.
