Survived by wife, Elaine; children, Curtis (Pauline), Kay (Rev. Jonathan) Brohn, Rev. Kent (Pamela), Clark (Katie); grandchildren, Philip, Daniel, Jacob, Matthew, Hannah, Nathan, Joel, Adam, Lydia, Mckenzie and Andrew. Over 38 years of ministry, LaVern served congregations in Clear Lake and Almena, WI, Belle Plaine, MN and Ridgeland, WI. Service 11:00AM Saturday, July 12, 2008 with visitation one hour prior to service at SALEM LUTHERAN CHURCH, 14940 62nd Street North, Stillwater. Interment Salem Cemetery.
