A celebration of Richard "ACK" Ackerson's life will be Thursday, 7:00 P.M. with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 5:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater.
Richard, age 66, of Stillwater, passed away unexpectedly on September 21, 2009. He was born January 27, 1943 in Saint Paul to Raymond and Gladys Ackerson. He graduated from Johnson High School in Saint Paul and the University of Minnesota where he played hockey. "ACK" was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.
He is survived by longtime partner, Jeane Buhr; daughters, Lynn (David) Robson, Krista Caldwell; grandchildren, Kyle, Jenna, Paige, Jedah, Danielle and Camryn; sister, Carol Kurnow; other relatives and friends.
